This image represents the purity of a young woman finding balance in her life, along with identity, as she grows a love connection she has never experienced before. As lemons represent difference in beliefs and morals, the balance above them represents her dominance in finding her own. In Dirty Dancing, Baby's dad does not approve of the man she likes. Therefore, she must overcome this disapproval through expression of her newfound identity- through dancing. The combination of pink and blue assert Baby's connection with her lover of the opposite sex.
