Hit the Lights

This piece creates a feeling of coming of age, where the ideas that were once in the dark are brought to light. From the left to right, there is a knife connected to a fork and spoon. This is conceptual to the path of belonging.  The slightly different heightened mushrooms show a transformation that has taken place over a short period of time. The fulfilling flowers that blossom directly towards the viewer can resemble a bold, newfound life, that is further brought to light by the gleaming crimson highlighted candle. Lemons are floating above the lagoon blue liquid to indicate a presence of opposing viewpoints, and the deep moralistic values that could possibly lie beneath. Lagoons are particularly peculiar bodies of water, as one  indeed can not see what lies beneath the surface. The lemons are partially overtaken with a royal blue high exposure light, which conceptually resembles the dependability human beings have for one another.
